Job description

Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 Design and Analysis Engineer 4s for a contract opportunity in Berkeley, MO.

*This position is 100% ONSITE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements. Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.

Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements. Oversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.

Researches technology advances for potential application to company business needs. Makes recommendations for technology investments. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
If hired, successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment.


REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
· Currently possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
· 3+ years' experience in an electrical engineering role

DE SIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
· 3+ years' experience in design, integration, and test of electrical systems
· 2+ years' experience in avionics, electrical, and/or a mission systems role
· 2+ years' experience developing or integrating avionics or mission systems
· Experience in Agile Software Development and JIRA
· Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools

EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD + years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT
WORK HOURS: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
