Job Description:

Littorai wines is seeking a dependable Cellar Master to join our team in Sebastopol, CA. We are a small, family run winery that produces terroir driven Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast and Anderson Valley AVA’s.

This is a hybrid position on our small production team. The role shares equal time in the winery and the vineyards. You will have exposure to all the operations of a biodynamic, family run winery. The Cellar Master will oversee and execute general cellar operations from grape receival to bottling and report directly to the wine making team. There is a heavy focus in the vineyard during certain months as we believe that is where the best wines are crafted.

The right candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in wine production and be detail oriented. Excellent forklift skills are a must. This is a year round, full-time position with benefits and an amazing opportunity to work with a biodynamic estate that has been crafting world class wines for over 30 years. Job Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):
-Cleaning, sanitation, and general winery upkeep.
-Under direction of the wine making team, execute tasks such as topping, racking, analysis, bottling and sanitation.
-Preform data entry, maintain spreadsheets, manage cellar bulk inventory.
-General wine analysis.
-Maintain cleanliness of winery and laboratory.
-General facilities maintenance.
-Preform barrel maintenance and sanitation.
-All harvest related tasks and duties.
-Crop estimates.
-General Vineyard Work – pruning, budding, canopy management, netting, etc.
-Animal Husbandry tasks – feeding, watering, repairing fences, etc.

Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, Spanish speaking a plus.
Minimum 3 years wine production experience.
Excellent forklift skills and certification.
Ability to work independently and on a small team.
Ability to work in US without sponsorship.
Proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Word.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
