Requirements:
- We require a strong business analyst with insurance experience preferred but willing to train the right individual if motivated, responsible and ready to learn and become part of a high-performing team.
- Needs to be excellent in excel in financial data management.
- Must have insurance experience is even better specially, working with loss ratios of premiums versus claims, they must speak excellent English.
- Must speak English very well written and spoken
- Must be excellent in data management using Microsoft Excel and its formulas, tables, and all functionalities and be able to make the proper analysis and "connection" of the data set results.
- A degree in mathematics, statistics, advanced business, actuarial sciences and economics or a junior actuarial knowledge. Knowledge of medical insurance is helpful of medical sciences.
- 3-5+ years of professional experience
- Strong analytical skills to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task
- Working knowledge of Microsoft tools, including email, teams, tasks, and other collaboration tools similar collaboration platforms may be applicable experience to learn our tools.
- Ability to lead resources to solution agreement by leveraging skills and business know-how
- Effective communication skills; listening, written and verbal; ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Must be proficient in using the English language (spoken and written) and communicating professionally, following acceptable business protocols.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment to solve business problems to help the company's goals.
- Ability to think from an end user's perspective on the usage of systems
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on the end-user
- Team player with strong negotiation skills and ability to work with others
- Proven working experience as a Finance Analyst
- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
- Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
- Goods presentation, reporting, and communication skills when reporting
- Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
