We are currently seeking
Pavement Marking General Laborers to join our team and work our overnight shifts with the Highway Service Group at our work sites in the
Englewood, CO area . Our Pavement Marking General Laborers support the pavement function which will entail site set up and clean up, site layout and barrier, cone, traffic control materials, preparing machinery, loading the truck, and unloading the truck.
The starting pay is $18.00-$21.00 per hour depending on experience. Candidates with a valid CDL license or prior industry experience will start at a higher hourly rate. Will need to be able to commute to our Englewood, CO branch location each day to gather equipment.
Work Schedules Available:
- Sunday-Thursday (6:00 PM-6:00 AM)
- Monday-Friday (6:00 AM-6:00 PM)

What You'll Do: - Support all pavement functions and duties at job sites based on the site plan and / or contractor directions
- Implement striping plans and preform needed layout including intersections markings
- Install Preform Plastic and Preformed Thermoplastic to job specification
- Operate and maintain paint trucks
- Install temporary pavement markings
- Communicate with contractors and relate specific customer / job changes and other information to Supervisor, Project Manager, office staff, or others
- Provide the highest level of customer service to all customers
- Work efficiently in a team environment and independently when assigned
What We Need from You: - Valid drivers license required
- Hold a current Flagger certification or the ability to pass Company sponsored Flagger Certification (ATSSA)
- Valid Class A or B CDL license plus experience operating Striping and / or Epoxy Trucks is a plus but not required
- Prior experience working with Epoxy and high temperatures is a plus
- Be able to successfully complete a company sponsored Defensive Driver training
- Must be able to wear proper safety equipment (work boots 6 inch with safety toe, hard hat and safety vest)
- Comfortable being regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; moving equipment, and machinery parts and working around moving traffic, fumes, airborne particles, and moderate / loud noise levels
- Ability to lift / move more than 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to travel and work days and nights most weeks
