Job description
Staff Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide support for budgeting and forecasting.
- Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Assist with audits and tax filings as needed.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department.
Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of experience in accounting or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
