- Will play a crucial role in ensuring that our business units successfully understand how to effectively use and adapt to changes in key applications in support of their business processes.
- Develop new and improve existing training materials, training programs, and support materials for our key applications.
- Identify potential challenges, address issues, and motivate the users of these applications to embrace changes within the applications or related business processes.
- In addition, they will coordinate instructor-led training, provide administrative support to department personnel, and help improve training services.
- Identify key stakeholders, conduct stakeholder analysis to identify high level impacts and change readiness, design activities to build business readiness, monitor readiness, and modify/adapt as needed.
- Develop materials and deploy targeted change management and communication actions, including narrative/message map, FAQ, and response statements from employees and appropriate external stakeholder communications in alignment with the change management and communications strategy.
- Act as primary point of contact for scheduling, coordinating, communicating, and documenting training conducted and training material produced.
- Develop clear, concise, and user-friendly training materials for various processes and systems.
- Regularly update training materials to reflect any changes or updates in processes.
- Conduct training sessions for team members, ensuring a thorough understanding of systems and processes.
- Customize training approaches based on the audience and their learning preferences.
- Maintain training records for training participants.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to individuals as they navigate through systems and workflows.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Report on status and provide metric data for the program.
- Exhibit professional and courteous attitude in handling of all inquiries, whether written or verbal.
- Assist Manager and Training Specialists (employees or contractors) with other tasks as required.
Skills Required
- Experienced in designing, developing, and delivering learning materials, developing training strategies, and leveraging different training methods and channels.
- Ability to communicate key platform functionality to internal stakeholders and ensure a clear understanding of requirements across all system components.
- Can work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure their needs are understood and a path defined to ensure that expectations are appropriately managed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project management, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Understanding of organizational dynamics and human behavior during change.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and have the ability/willingness to learn new programs quickly.
- Resourceful, able to thrive in an independent, self-directed role, and work with all levels of the organization.
- Passion for educating, informing, supporting, and helping employees.
- Applies strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Oil & gas industry experience preferred.
- Ability and willingness to arrive early and/or stay late, periodically, is required.
- Must meet deadlines/cost commitments using sound business judgment and professionalism while ensuring accuracy and exhibiting attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly and efficiently complete tasks, as well as take initiative and be proactive in addressing issues is required.
- Must effectively juggle competing priorities, multi-task, and change direction in a variety of workplace situations.
- Must have strong commitment to continuous improvement of self, processes, projects, and overall business.

Education/Training/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Management, or Communications).
