Job description
Culinary Services Group is looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a Registered Dietitian at Culinary Services Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients and residents receive optimal, tailored nutrition through evidence-based medical nutrition therapy. Your responsibilities will include the maintenance and monitoring of the clinical nutrition program, overseeing the provision of accurate, nutritionally sound, safe, and palatable meals, and actively participating in auditing, corrective action planning, and training initiatives. Working closely with the Clinical Nutrition Manager and/or Director of Clinical Services, you will contribute to the development, design, and implementation of quality improvement programs, measuring and enhancing quality outcomes. Compensation: • Salary Range: $50,000 - $54,000 • Paid Time Off • High-quality benefits • A virtual clinical support network • Clinical resources and reference materials • Monthly continuing education opportunities • Mentoring and professional development opportunities • Relocation assistance if required • Annual membership to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, including 1 Dietetic Practice Group Responsibilities: Nutrition Care: • Ensure appropriate nutrition risk screening, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation are completed for all patients/residents following relevant schedules and policies. Risk Management: • Monitor and manage high nutrition risk and premium nutrition programs. • Implement and maintain a high-risk monitoring and intervention program, including appropriate referral, coding, and reporting. • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations through routine auditing procedures. Quality Assurance: • Lead department quality assurance and performance improvement. • Conduct routine auditing and develop and implement corrective action plans. • Deliver training for all levels of team members. • Participate in community quality assurance and performance improvement through relevant meetings and cross-departmental collaboration. Compliance & Alignment: • Ensure dietary services align with individualized care. • Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team through auditing internal systems and procedures. • Attend clinical care meetings and participate in clinical auditing and performance improvement. Qualifications: • Education: BS in Nutrition or related field. • Certification: Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) with active state licensure or ability to obtain state licensure in the states of service. • Experience: 2+ years’ experience in healthcare and contract food management preferred but not required. • Proven ability to manage and impact clinical outcomes. • Proven ability to work with interdisciplinary teams, both internal and external. • Application of technology to monitor or improve quality outcomes. • Adaptability & Change Management. • Teamwork and Collaboration. • Technology and Information Management. • Results and Quality Orientation. • Initiative & Independence. • Must be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language clearly. • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role. • Employment authorization to work in the United States. • Pass a background check. • Meet any other checks/qualifications required by the client/facility or other statutory requirements. • Team members must be able to work a flexible schedule. • Must be able to report to work site in Laurinburg, NC 28352.
