Summary:
Reporting to the Northern USA Sales Director, the Field Sales Representative is a crucial team member of the Certarus team and continued growth strategy in the Northeastern/Pennsylvania and Ohio - USA region. The successful candidate will demonstrate hands-on industry leading outside sales management skills and is responsible for maximizing revenue by creating, managing, and implementing best in class sales development activities in the field to maximize our growth.
Schedule: - This position holds normal business hours with extra work hours when required.
- Frequent travel to our corporate offices, as well as Certarus locations and our customer sites is required for this role.
Duties & Responsibilities: - Achieve volume and margin sales targets for compressed natural gas to commercial industrial and the oil and gas markets.
- Develop a strong relationship with key accounts to maintain a high level of service and client loyalty.
- Work closely with operations and support functions to facilitate solutions for the customer.
- Recommend solutions that best fit customer requirements, present and future needs.
- Manage several strategic accounts, analyzing with responsibility for profitable growth and pricing models of those strategic accounts.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies, and negotiating contract terms, i.e., T&Cs, NDAs, master service agreements, and supply chain.
- Work closely with accounting to ensure accuracy and timely approval of job invoices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: - Minimum 5 years' field sales experience.
- Prior experience in energy services as well as a strong network in oil and gas, industrial, construction and/or power generation sectors is an asset.
- Successful track record identifying and supporting the development and delivery of new business opportunities.
- Skilled with a strong understanding of the art of negotiations.
- Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment along with the ability to develop strong trusting relationships.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact and manage business relationships at all levels.
- Self-driven with a proven track record of success working in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer programs with experience in sales programs, CRM's, Concur and other computer software.
