Job description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Manager to manage all phases of our design projects from conception, design, and initial project specifications pahases.- Manage the project timeline and budget, estimating and securing materials, and overseeing the Design team to ensure quality and timely project completion
- Develop electrical hardware design within the bounds set by the project scope as outlined in the final project proposal, and from minimal input from Lead Engineers and Project Managers
- Accuracy of the drawing package upon release to manufacturing
- Size circuits per relevant recognized codes (IE: UL 508A, NFPA 70, NFPA 79 and CE)
- Develops panel layouts per company standards
- Supervise Design and Drafting group assigned to Design department
- Calculate internal panel heat loads and evaluates enclosure cooling requirements
- Manage team performance, utilization and KPI reporting
At least 5+ years experience with:
- Managing Electrical Design Team
- Electrical Design: Conception/Design/Project Specifications
