Position: Shiny R Developer
Location: Remote
Important Skills
Technical Shiny R, CDISC, Tidyverse, REST API, shell scripting, Git, github, statistics, python
Soft self driven, strong communication, collaborative
Must Haves:
5+ years of shiny R development experience
Working experience creating CDISC datasets and TFLs for regulatory submission
Experience with statistical and analytical techniques and visualizations
Self-driven with minimal guidance (reporting into their biometrics executive director)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Description:
Job Responsibilities:
5+ years of experience Strong programming experience and proficiency with R, R Shiny, and R Markdown
Building production R Shiny apps and R packages.
Experience (CRO or Pharma) creating CDISC datasets and TFLs for regulatory submission.
Experience with all aspects of testing including unit tests, snapshot tests, shiny module tests, end-to-end app tests.
Experience and preference for Tidyverse packages
Experience and preference for Shiny modules and developing shiny apps using R package framework.
Knowledge and experience with statistical and analytical techniques and visualizations
Experience with Posit/RStudio pro products is preferred.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., GIT)
Experience with collaborative code development workflow
Knowledge with REST API, proficiency with command line shell scripting highly desirable
Experience with EDC systems (e.g. medidata RAVE) desirable
Experience with data engineering, pipelining, databasing desirable
Published GitHub code repositories, R packages, Shiny apps strong plus
Linux OS, Python, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, D3, CI/CD, devops, parallel computing, AWS, statistics, computer system validation experience and skills are pluses.
