Construction Laborer

Job description

Aerotek has an immediate opening for a Laborer in  the  King of Prussia , PA area .  The primary role of the laborer will be pipe cutting, excavating, and laying.

Must Haves:

• Minimum two years experience in commercial site development or related field
• Physically capable of heavy lifting (80+ lbs at a time)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• OSHA 10 preferred - or ability to complete certification upon employment
• Valid state driver's license & transportation to / from project sites
• Please note that project locations may include Delaware County, Chester County, Montgomery County & Bucks County

Job Responsibilities:

• Wide variety of manual tasks, including pipe cutting & laying, instructing equipment operators on cuts & fills, shoveling / raking asphalt, running light equipment, etc...
• Digging / spreading dirt & stone using shovel and/or rake
• Mix mortar, spread stone & other materials using hand tools
• Lift, carry & hold mortar, pipe, tools & supplies
• Maintain cleanliness of tools and project site
• Follow oral instructions and/or written work orders with accuracy to complete assignments as directed and on schedule

Skills: Construction,  pipe installation, paving, Concrete, construction equipment, drainage, grading, utilities maintenance, asphalt paving

Experience Level:

Intermediate

Pay: $18-25/hour
