Key Accountabilities and One K-C Behaviors

Interpret the needs of the business units.

• Review and understand the strategic business unit’s business plans considering supply implications through regular participation in cross functional product projects.
• Be an engaged business partner through regular reviews of regional and global innovation plans within categories of accountability

Synthesize these needs into supply chain implications

• Provide ECM leadership into the Tissue and Wipes Value Streams, sharing ECM insights and translating business needs into ECM solutions.
• Anticipate supply chain implications: capacity investments, capability investments, new supplier search, etc.
• Partner with Procurement Managers to maintain strong visibility to the category sourcing strategies and the operational tissue and wipes footprint, ensuring alignment with the supply chain objectives.
• Provide perspective on capital & asset needs into planning & forecasting process for both internal and external needs related to tissue and wipes.
• Provide direction, advice, and counsel on product portfolio options: complexity vs. working capital vs. service vs. total delivered cost
• Employ leadership standard work (the “ECM Playbook”) to stay connected to cross-functional initiatives (e.g., RFPs, innovations, quality assurance, supply assurance, etc.)
• Manage external supply relationships toward partnership and mutual growth
• Track relevant supply chain sourcing commitments and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.

Prioritize constrained resources and funds

• Considering benefit vs. effort of the collective initiatives, prioritize the execution of initiatives
• Identify creative solutions to break through cross-functional resource constraints.
• Escalate unresolved cross-functional constraints, identifying options with commercial and/or operational benefits and trade-offs, and providing recommendation while giving voice to dissenting perspectives

Orchestrate the execution across the cross-functional matrix of the end-to-end supply chain

• Behave as equal business partners, communicating to regional business leaders and peer functions, highlighting conflicts, options, priorities, and rationale, as necessary
• Provide inspirational communication to team members and third-party partners, identifying the priorities, expectations, and rationale behind change initiatives
• Conduct regular category reviews for assigned sources to assess progress vs. plans, adjusting as required to deliver commitments.
• Drive the delivery of fundamental supply execution in compliance, service, quality, innovation, and cost management
• Challenge plans for sufficient stretch, helping to identify barriers, requesting support as needed

Key Qualifications and Experiences

• Demonstrated knowledge of FMCG supply chains, manufacturing techniques, and market strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Packaging, Logistics, or Business
• 10 plus years’ experience including mill and cross functional staff positions.
• Experience working with the business unit to develop, engage, and lead strategies and projects.
• Proven leadership in achieving cost transformation targets.
• Experience as a thought leader demonstrating ability to influence others including senior leaders.
• Led and successfully delivered on multi-disciplined, cross functional projects.

Scope

There are no direct reports for this role.

Manage 3-7 external manufacturers that provide products primarily in support of our North America Consumer business.

Other Requirements

• Regional travel up to 10% of time
• Location: Roswell or Neenah preferred

The anticipated pay range for this job has a range of $X-$X in addition to bonus potential. Individual pay levels will be based on multiple factors including, but are not limited to, location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
