Job description

Insurance Placement Solutions has an immediate opening for a Commercial Auto Claims Claims Manager with our client.

The position of Commercial Auto Insurance Claims Manager requires experience in handling all aspects of high-exposure liability cases, including coverage, as well as supervision of a small claims staff.

Commercial Auto Claims Manager Responsibilities

• Must have good communication skills and be capable of directing claims staff as needed.
• Must have knowledge of commercial auto liability claims, physical damage claims, non-trucking liability claims, general liability claims, and cargo claims.
• Experience dealing directly with defense attorneys on a nationwide basis, selecting and directing their activities.
• Experience participating in and handling mediation on high-exposure cases is necessary.

Experience

• 7+ years of experience handling Commercial Auto claims as a claims adjuster
• Previous experience handling high-exposure liability cases
• 5+ years of previous experience in a supervisor or leadership role

Licensing

• Must have an active adjuster license

Education

• A high school diploma or equivalent
