SAIC is actively seeking a Planning and Training Coordinator to support USASOC in Fort Liberty, NC.
Job Duties:
- Provides Planning and Training Coordinator support as part of an integrated member of a Multi-Functional Intelligence analysis team supporting USASOC.
- Responsible for planning and coordinating all third party training, to include advanced training for the units and the OSINT team, vendor provided tool training, establishing training schedules, managing the training calendar and coordinating all rosters with vendors.
- Responsible for booking venues for training, and receiving and disseminating certificates of completion for each training event.
- Responsible for interaction with Tool vendors, to include scheduling demonstrations, evaluating new software/tools, completing Due Diligence assessments and distributing/managing trial, training or permanent accounts.
- Acts as the focal point for all training coordination between USASOC HQ and 1 st SFC and subordinate units.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years or more of related experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree
- Two (2) to five (5) years of experience supporting Special Forces or other Tactical units.
Required Security Clearance:
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtaina Top Secret/SCI with a polygrpah; US Citizenship required.
Required Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of experience as planner, training coordinator or operations leader
- Experience writing professional (reports, briefings, etc.).
- Experience providing direct customer support.
- Experience working as part of multi-discipline teams.
- Ability to multi-task and accomplish tasks with limited supervision and respond to short-notice tasking.
Desired Qualifications:
- Have completed OS301 Basic Open Source Intelligence Course/OSINT Fundamentals Course, OS302 Advanced Tools and Tradecraft Course, CASO or equivalent training.
- Intelligence collection and/or analysis experience.
- Open Source intelligence (OSINT) experience.
- Knowledge of VMs and VPNs
- Experience utilizing vendor web-based tools, free open-source tools and searching public databases and records
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Operational writing skills
