Job description

Are you a general practice veterinarian looking for the opportunity to practice veterinary medicine in a long established family feel small animal practice based in Montgomery County, Maryland! If so then please read on.

Global Talent Partners are excited to be working with this small independent practice based in Montgomery County, Maryland, who are looking to grow their team to meet the demand of the growing client list.

Our client is open to speaking with experienced veterinarians, as well as new graduates . If you are an experienced veterinarian, you will be part of a friendly team helping to meet the demand of the growing client list. If you are a new graduate looking to start your veterinary career, then this practice will welcome you with open arms, as they can offer mentorship and you will receive the support needed to blossom.

The practice is relatively small but boasts a brand new dental clinic, in house lab suit of idex machines, urine analysis, full surgery room, plus many more.

There is a good ratio of support staff to Doctors at this practice and any sole working doctor will always have two technicians on hand to assist. The practice has parking street side and at the rear and is easily accessible via bus/metro services.

Key Duties:

Your day to day duties will include General Practice Medicine of patients and possibly some surgery should you have an interest in surgery and are competent with surgical skills.
You will also be required to provide the following services when needed.

- In-Home euthanasia
- General Medicine
- Digital x-ray

- Microchipping

- Senior Pet Care
- House calls
- In house Lab

- Ultrasound

Package and Benefits:

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements:

- Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
- Active Maryland Veterinary State License
- Position open to Experience Veterinarians & New Grads
