**Hybrid Position - Candidate is required to be On-Site 2-3 days a week **

Location: Hybrid position; in Dearborn, Michigan

Position Type: Full-Time 24 Months

About Us:

Join the engineering team, responsible for providing Web and eCommerce solutions that power the online consumer experiences for vehicle lines, parts & and accessories, subscriptions, etc., across all global markets. We are seeking a Senior QA Test Automation Engineer who will be responsible for testing and validating scalable microservices built using a combination of Java and Google Cloud Platform technology stack. This role emphasizes test automation and improving the efficiency of test processes, with a primary focus on developing and executing test plans and test suites for a Global eCommerce application.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, document, and maintain test plans, procedures, and scripts for well-defined product-level integration tests.

Collaborate with extended integration partner teams to define and execute exploratory and automated API tests.

Establish and promote QA guidelines, best practices, and standards.

Ensure all code delivered adheres to secure coding practices and maintains adequate code coverage.

Work with code repositories and tracking systems such as Git, Confluence/SharePoint, JIRA/Rally for documentation, scripts, results, configuration, and supporting data.

Execute test automation using BDD framework, Selenium, Postman, Rest Assured, Rest Clients, TestNG, Cucumber/Gherkin, etc.

Utilize IDE tools such as Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA for test automation development.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and reliability.

Skills Required:

Knowledge of BDD framework, Test Automation, API microservices automation scripting.

Basic database knowledge and API testing experience.

Experience with version control tools like Git and collaborative tools like GitHub, Bitbucket.

Experience in cloud technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, etc.

Familiarity with agile development lifecycle and eCommerce domain.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields (Master's preferred).

Skills Preferred:

Java, open-source technologies, and hands-on experience in microservices using advanced Java concepts.

Experience in Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks.

Exposure/Experience in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) or similar cloud computing platforms.

Technical certifications will be considered a plus.

Experience Required:

8-12 years of experience in software testing and test automation, specifically BDD framework, Test Automation, API microservices automation scripting.

Experience with Java, open-source technologies, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, JUnit, TestNG, and version control tools like Git.

Experience Preferred:

eCommerce and Google Cloud Platform experience are considered a plus.

Additional Requirements:

Selected candidate expected to work from offices in Dearborn, Michigan, 2-3 times a week.
