Forest Acres Post Acute is a beautiful 132-bed skilled nursing and Rehab facility conveniently located in Forest Drive, Columbia, South Carolina. We are excited to announce that we are under new management who are supportive and dynamic! We are a family that is passionate about making an impact on patients' lives each day. We work together as a team in our family orientated environment and due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our staff to allow for the highest level of care and functioning for our residents in our two large therapy gymnasiums.

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to support our Therapy team. This position requires effective management skills along with good communication skills for interdepartmental relationships and requires competency in therapy discipline for evaluation, assessment, care planning and treatment. The Director of Rehab will be required to have a bachelor's degree in either Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Pathology with an active South Carolina license.

The successful candidate will have the following:

Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) is responsible for the day to day activities in the rehabilitation department. This includes but is not limited to the delivery of direct and indirect services to in-patients and out-patients, supervision of all therapy personnel, interviewing and recommending new hires, and training of all therapy personnel. The DOR is responsible for implementation of new programs to meet the needs of the facility and the residents. Is delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out all assigned duties to provide both clinical and operational oversight to the delivery of rehabilitative services.
