Required
- 5+ years of experience as a technical writer for product documentation or online publishing, including experience with writing technical customer-facing materials
- Proven understanding of modern software development concepts
- Ability to organize information into an easy-to-understand hierarchy
- Self-driven, with strong time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly, as well as understand why they're important to our users
- Ability to set priorities and undertake complex tasks with minimal supervision
- Understanding of the Software and Documentation Development Life Cycles
- Can collaborate cross-functionally with people in all ranks, teams, and disciplines across the company
- Experience with XML-based publishing systems, Git, and Markdown
- Knowledge of or familiarity with programming concepts in one or more of these languages: PowerShell, C#, .NET, Python, REST, ARM, etc.
Preferred
- Experience with networking and telecom technologies
- Experience with Madcap Flare
- Experience with Jira, automation, scripting
- Experience with Kubernetes and Cloud Native technologies
- Experience in writing API documentation
