Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Eagles Mere, Pennsylvania is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.
Position Overview:
Work alongside the Head Golf Professional to deliver an exceptional Total Golf Experience to the members and guests the club. This role will assist with all men’s, women’s, and mixed tournaments, as well as member games. All other roles are consistent in supporting the overall needs within the golf operation.
Duties shall include but not be limited to:
• Supporting responsibility for men’s, women’s and mixed golf events.
• Supporting responsibility for all member games.
• Supporting responsibility for golf shop operations.
• Support of all clinics and teaching programs for women’s and junior golf.
• Support of the overall golf operation and Total Golf Experience.
• Knowledgeable of members preferences and anticipates their needs.
• Provides the highest level of service to Club members and guests, while ensuring member and guest expectations are met or exceeded.
• Teach membership when time permits.
• Administer point-of-sale transactions for members and guests.
• Assist Head Pro with merchandise operation.
Requirements:
Class A PGA Member or Apprentice working towards Class A.
Polished and professional demeanor in manner and appearance.
Solid judgement and ability to anticipate members and guests needs.
Skilled in multi-tasking.
Excellent communication and member service skills.
High attention to detail and great organizational skill.
Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Club Essential, and Golf Genius Tournament System).
