PURPOSE: The Helpdesk Specialist / Network Administrator I performs Tier I related tasks to administer and support of all end point devices, services and application for end users and workstations at M.C. Dean, Inc.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Require knowledge of PCs operating systems and configurations.
Require fundamental knowledge of Windows Server functions.
Strong analytical abilities and experience with Microsoft Office suite.
Be of high aptitude and keen on details.
Installing, repair and the configuration of PC hardware and software for end user.
Installing, configure peripheral devices on PCs and troubleshooting connection related problems.
Knowledgeable to setup and connect PC to LAN and wireless networks. Troubleshoot if any issues.
Be able to update device drivers and OS patches on workstations.
Installing, configuring and supporting local and network printers.
Attention to details in completing assigned tasks using ticketing system.
Strong organizational, teamwork and communication skills.
Finish assigned tasks and tickets in timely manner.
Communicating effectively in writing and verbally as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
The incumbent reports to Senior Network Administrators.
Experience:
This position requires at least two (2) years of experience as a Network Administrator.
Knowledge of Workstation OS.
Knowledge of TCP/IP stack.
Follow documented solutions and guides.
Knowledge of the maintenance/installation of all Microsoft software products.

Other Required Experience:

Communicating effectively in writing and verbally as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
Managing AD user accounts and AD group membership using Microsoft Active Directory, understand fundamental DNS and DHCP services.
Be able to create/update/modify scripts to automate workflow.
Create, update How-to technical documentation. Knowledge of MacOS based systems.
Deep dive knowledge in Computer deployment and configuration systems: WDS, SCCM etc. Be proficient in reviewing computer event logs.
Assist and be hands for Senior Systems and network engineers.
Education
Education: High School/GED – AAS degree preferred.
Applicant to have 25B-MOS classification.

Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.
