Job description
Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer for our client in the Retail domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. Role: Senior Test Automation Engineer
Primary Skills: Test Automation/ Software Quality Assurance
Role Description: The Senior Test Automation Engineer must have at least 8+ years of experience.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Actively test a mobile app on iOS and Android (or web app) and do API testing.
- Design test cases, test plan, test data setup, database querying, perform regression testing.
- Working on API or Mobile/Web automation.
?Must Have? Specific Knowledge and Skills:
- 8+ years of overall QA testing experience.
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience with the ownership of software project testing: defining test strategy, writing test plans, designing and executing software tests, preparing test data, bug tracking, reporting.
- Heavily involved in end to end testing and back-end validations including database and API testing.
- Exceptional SQL and database querying skills.
- 3+ years of recent QA automation experience with tools such as Selenium and Appium.
- Excellent at being organized with things related to work.
- Strong sense of ownership, bias for action and an It Can Be Done attitude.
- Good Communication Skills.
- API Automation development experience using Postman.
- Web Automation development experience using Selenium + Java.
- Mobile Automation development experience using Appium is must
- Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
Education: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
