Responsibilities:
The Associate / Senior Associate will work directly with Senior Management to asset manage the South Florida portfolio.
- Coordinate with senior management, property managers, leasing agents, lenders, and accounting in the implementation of business plans for existing assets
- Review RFPs and leasing proposals prepared by leasing agents as well as subsequent lease documents prepared by counsel
- Review and assist in preparing monthly reports for investment partners and lenders
- Coordinate property managers, architects and general contractors on renovations and developments
- Conduct quarterly valuations of existing assets
- Produce quarterly market update reports
- Prepare annual budgets and reforecasts with property management teams
- Perform financial analyses to understand the impact of various asset level decisions
- Participate in acquisition process by assisting in asset-level diligence and the onboarding process
- Build relationships with leasing agents, contractors, and stakeholders to further portfolio performance
- Prepare ad hoc analyses at senior management, investment partner or lender request
Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree / strong academic performance
- 2 - 5 years of relevant commercial real estate experience
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and Argus
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver timely results in a fast-paced environment
