This position is with a global leader in the development, manufacturing, and sales of an extended line of metal and plastic fasteners and engineered fastening systems for commercial applications.

3rd shift Sunday-Thursdsay 10pm – 6am
Starting pay $28-$30/hour

What You'll Do As a Tool and Die Maker , you'll be part of our team located in Lakewood, OH. You'll get to:
- Set up and operate tools such as lathes, milling machines, shaper and grinder to machine parts and verify conformance of machine parts to specifications.
- Fit and assemble jigs, fixtures, tools and dies.
- Set up runs off and test dies to produce a product to specifications, tracing die difficulties to their source and correcting them.
- Lapping, grinding, fitting, and finishing dies
- Read and interpret routine blueprints.
- Use hand tools of the trade.
- Perform maintenance for cold header tooling and work with cold header operators, engineering, and production to support customer's needs and lead times.

- High School degree, Trade School graduate or Apprenticeship preferred.
- Ability to make carbide trap and extrusion dies.
- Ability to read and understand production prints and tolerances, drawings, follow routings and shop math
- Comfortable using various hand held measuring tools.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand for 8 hour shift and are comfortable in a moderate to heavy physical effort environment
