Job description
SMV Recruiting is actively looking for an Inside Sales Representative to work for a 100+ year old manufacturer in Syracuse, NY . Our client is seeking an individual capable of reaching out to potential and exisiting customers and recommending products that align wth their needs, all while achieving personal and departmental sales objectives. In addition, your role would involve offering assistance, addressing customer inquiries by leveraging your product expertise, and recording all customer data. This is a direct hire role, the hours are 8:00a – 5:00p with no overtime. If you are mechanically inclined, enjoy customer service and are looking for a career opportunity, please apply! Responsibilities:
- Accomplish personal and company sales metrics and goals
- Reach out to potential or current clients to explore how products or services meet their needs
- Prepare quotes, t rack order status and follow up with customers promptly
- Answer customer inquiries using product knowledge in a timely manner
- Document customer information including transactions
- Support the marketing team with adveristising
- Assist trade show prep including logistics and staffing
- Provide updates to management on performance of customer service and sales
- Help prepare best practices and training materials
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree is preferred in mechanicals, maintenance or similar preferred
- 2-5+ years of customer service, sales or restaurant experience is required
- Microsoft Office Suite and Windows experience is required
- 1+ years of manufacturing or industrial experience is strongly preferred
