The
Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing radiology procedures and operating X-ray equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Performs radiology procedures as ordered by physicians and providers.
- Travels to other clinics as directed by Chief Technologist and/or Radiology Director.
- Processes room add-on cases prior to scheduled cases.
- Uses equipment in compliance to all safety requirements.
- Complies with all HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
- Establishes and maintains effective communication with physicians, employees and other departments.
- Responds to patient questions as required to resolve issues and maintain high patient satisfaction levels.
- Maintains patient confidentiality.
QUALIFICATIONS - Associates Degree in Radiology Technology and current ARRT certification.
- One – two years experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital or clinic environment.
- Current state and ARRT certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
EDUCATION - Associates Degree in Radiology Technology and current ARRT certification.
EXPERIENCE - One – two years experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital or clinic environment.
REQUIREMENTS - Current state and ARRT certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
