Job description

Trillium Construction is now hiring for a Sales Executive of Defense and Aerospace!


Our client is a top security systems integrator in the nation and they are now hiring a market leader for their SLED team. This candidate will be leading business development on the defense and aerospace vertical of the company. This is a direct hire opportunity with a salary of $200+ depending on experience. Great benefits package including M/V/D, 401k, PTO, Holiday Pay, and more.


Duties:
-Work with leadership on the business development and operational alignment of the strategic vertical market.
-Develop market awareness through networking, facilitating customer round tables, event attendance and industry associations.
-Build relationships with executive decision makers, consultants, contractors and end-user prospects to cultivate and identify new opportunities.
-Identify large strategic account targets and develop and implement the strategic roadmap and growth plan.
-Lead the preparation of proposals, presentations and RFP responses.
-Collaborate with premier partners in the aerospace and defense vertical market.
-Support the strategic focus of digital transformation, cybersecurity and managed services.
-Partner with sales colleagues to execute growth, development, sales and marketing of all solutions.
-Oversight of operations colleagues to ensure consistent delivery across multiple offices around the globe.

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 5 years experience selling to defense contractors
-Expert knowledge of security systems and products.
-Entrepreneurial mindset to build growth plan
-Ability to travel nationally more than 50% of the time
