Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking to a hire a Software Engineer to join our team in Augusta, GA!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to :
- Designing and developing software applications, services, and systems
- Collaborating with team members to peer-review architecture design, system requirements, and implemented code s
- Security module design & development
- Software maintenance
- Software documentation
- Software configuration management
- Troubleshooting and debugging malfunctions of software applications and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services
- Apply Agile methodologies and configuration management principles to streamline processes
Requirements Knowledge and Skills - 3+ years of experience utilizing various programming languages such as Python, Java, Javascript, C++, C#, SQL
- 3+ years of experience in both frontend and backend software development
- Must have experience working with Windows and Linux
- Experience with Agile Methodologies, utilizing Jira, Confluence, and Kanban etc.
- Must have experience working within a DevOps environment
- Familiar with GitLab, GitHub, etc.
Education - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or other related degree
Other Qualifications - Must have an Active Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications - Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or other related degree
- Experience working on programs supporting DoD Contracts
- Familiarity with VMware ESXI
