Job description
Truckers Lighthouse is hiring! We are looking for a full time warehouse associate. $16-$19/hr. DOE with full benefits including health, vision, dental, 401K, & life insurance.
Job Description: - Manages inbound and outbound shipments
- Manages our online sales; adding new stock to our eBay and Amazon channels and updating existing listings
- Primary point of contact for delivery drivers at Nashville location
- Works with production units to ensure product is ready for installation
- Assist in warehouse setup for better flow and efficiency
- Assist in development and follow through of procedures and expectations regarding shipping and receiving
- Daily attention to new sales orders – pull relevant product and determine storage location
- Daily attention to aged sales orders – confirm products are pulled and determine missing items
- Close communication with Warehouse Manager – including daily meeting to relay pertinent information
- Assist Warehouse Manager in cycle counts and regular inventory procedures
- Bring forward known and new issues regarding inventory
- Able to develop proficiency for using company inventory software
- Able to develop keen awareness of staging and storage locations for orders and products
- Assist technician and sales staff as needed in obtaining items from warehouse
- Responsible for limited customer deliveries and transfer of product to other warehouses and install locations
- Perform occasional warehousing and inventory tasks at remote locations with advanced notice
- Be able to complete daily tasks while addressing long term projects and immediate concerns
- Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for long periods of time
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Able to work autonomously within parameters of tasks assigned
- Able to find areas for improvement and attention
