Chiron Technology Services, Inc. currently has a System Integration Engineer career opportunity in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. An active TS/SCI w/Polygraph Clearance is required for this position.

• Actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues, and developing and implementing corrective actions.
• Observe and interpret visual outputs indicating the operating status of systems and network components for designated computer network infrastructure.
• Translate user requests into technical diagnoses, then apply diagnoses to develop technical solutions to meet user needs.
• Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact.
• Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to Agency standard solutions.

•   Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 4-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 8-years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration.
• Strong Linux experience
• Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.
• Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
• Experience setting up storage such as network‐attached storage.
• Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C
