Job description
omo, a subsidiary of Hoag, is eager to welcome an early-career Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, with 1 to 3 years of experience, to our elite healthcare team. We seek an individual dedicated to offering superior healthcare services, tailored to our diverse patient base.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical support for adults and children.
- Conduct regular physical exams and administer screening tests and immunizations for all ages.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses, disorders, and health problems under the guidance of attending physicians.
- Document all patient evaluations, treatments, medications, and transactions according to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other medical staff, to provide optimal patient care.
- Educate and counsel patients and their families, promoting healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
- Contribute to medical research and the development of health policies.
- Ensure patient confidentiality, maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of the profession.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in medical care and participate in ongoing professional training and development.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited program.
- Current certification by the National Commission.
- Current, unrestricted license in the state of California.
- Experience in primary care or a related field preferred.
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient care skills under the supervision of physicians.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.
