Job description

The Henry Ford Health General Surgery Division is seeking a board eligible/certified general surgeon to meet the needs of our growing clinical practice at Henry Ford Medical Center - Lakeside in Sterling Heights, MI and Henry Ford Macomb Hospital located in Clinton Township, Michigan.As one of 5 hospitals within Henry Ford Health, we are a 361 bed Level II ACS Verified Trauma Center.

As a member of the Henry Ford Medical Group, one of the largest in the country, you will have quick access to colleagues in all specialties through a clinical network that values close collaboration.Teaching and educational opportunities are abundant with our close ties to Henry Ford Health’s flagship Henry Ford Hospital, located in Detroit, and its general surgery residency program.In addition, our recent innovative partnership with Michigan State University aims to set a new standard for how individuals and communities experience health care and allows for full academic appointments for those who qualify. 

Clinton Township is enriched with a culturally diverse population of 100,500 people.Located in in northern Metro Detroit, it is easily accessible to the cultural, dining and entertainment options in downtown Detroit and its surrounding suburbs.
