Summary:

Goldbelt Frontier LLC is searching for a Specialty Training Instructor (Functional Specialist III) to join their team. The professional will provide individual and collective specialty training support services to the US Army Health Facility Planning Agency and Medical Command G9 (HFPA/G9) personnel. They will develop, schedule, and execute didactic and exercise-based training programs for HFPA/G9 personnel, focusing on health facility planning. The successful candidate will collaborate with HFPA/G9 to develop a plan of action and milestones (POAM) for training execution.

The Specialty Training Instructor will design and deliver training sessions on six critical tasks related to health facility planning, covering areas such as facility assessment, program development, design concept, project cost estimation, project management, and risk assessment.

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop and deliver training sessions for each of the six health facility planner (70K9I) individual critical tasks.
• Create lesson plans, artifacts, and materials for didactic and exercise-based training.
• Conduct training events via MS Teams, including didactic instruction and scenario-based exercises.
• Coach HFPA/G9 employees through training events, providing post-lesson after action reviews (AARs) for improvement.
• Conduct AARs after each training event to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
• Develop end-of-contract reports summarizing training activities and outcomes.

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery.
• Expertise in the specialty area, with a strong understanding of relevant concepts, practices, and technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in health facility planning support, including operational contexts such as deployed health service support, global health engagement, or defense support of civil authorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or urban planning preferred.
