Marketing Specialist
Tungaloy-NTK America, a subsidiary of a leading metal cutting tool company headquartered in Japan, operates as the North American Sales & Marketing office based in Arlington Heights, Illinois. We are currently seeking an experienced and creative Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team on a full-time, in-office basis. As a member of our marketing department, you will contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing brand awareness and driving sales growth. Reporting directly to the Manager of Marketing Operations, you will play a pivotal role in various marketing activities, including graphic design, social media management, trade show & seminar coordination, and podcast creation. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for marketing and the ability to seamlessly adapt to evolving priorities.
Responsibilities:
· Aid in developing catalogs, brochures, and other marketing collateral.
· Strategize, execute, and track social media initiatives to bolster brand recognition and drive sales growth.
· Take charge of the selection and design of promotional items.
· Coordinate and oversee all aspects of in-house product seminars, ensuring seamless execution and maximum attendance.
· This role will entail overseeing and coordinating all trade show activities.
· Contribute to the planning, production, and editing phases of podcast episodes.
· Offer assistance across a variety of tasks aimed at bolstering brand visibility and facilitating sales growth.
· Act as a readily available support for team members requiring assistance with various projects.
Work Experience and Skills:
· Demonstrated track record (1-2 years) in marketing, social media management, podcast production, and graphic design.
· Proficiency in graphic design tools, particularly Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. (Position entails 25% Graphic Design work)
· Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
· Outstanding organizational skills coupled with effective time management capabilities, able to work well independently to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
· Demonstrated capacity to multitask and prioritize tasks within a deadline-oriented setting.
· Strong knowledge of social media analytics tools and platforms.
· Experience utilizing video and audio editing software.
