Job description
Role: Database Engineer
Location: Maple Grove, MN - 55311
Duration: 6 Months on W2 (possible extension)
Shift Timings: 8AM to 4PM or 9AM to 5PM
- 100% Onsite role.
Skills Looking For:
- Support in building Clinical Study Databases and data Entry Screens / ECRF's. Candidates must have experience in this kind of work.
- Experience: building data entry screens, programming data validation, checks using either PL SQL or just straight SQL and then troubleshooting issues, report generation or data listings.
- Experience with Clinical Data Management System like
- Experience with the FDA: 21 CFR part 11 guidance ( electronic records, electronic signatures) and good clinical practices data handling.
- Someone with three or more years of clinical data experience in a medical device or a pharmaceutical or as a CRO.
- Somebody that has worked in a system called Clim Dex, Oracle clinical RDC.
- SQL and or SAS experience would be helpful for reporting and programming edit checks or data validation checks and then being able to read a case report form for a CRF, data validation specifications, and then providing feedback.
- Some exp as SQL Developer; SQL is mainly for programming like what we call validation procedures or edit checks. Look at the data and see if there are any discrepancies. This is not a DBA kind of role.
Education and Experience:
- An associate's degree will suffice for this role.
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
- This is not a senior-level type position. Masters will be over qualified for the role and they have a strict budget so do not want many years of exp. A couple of years in industry is fine.
Top Skills:
- Experience in programming clinical study databases, a data entry screen and ECR in Med device or Pharma or worked as a CRO.
- Exp using CDMS systems like; Clim Dex and Oracle clinical RDC.
