Global Fragrance Education Director
Must Have At Least 3 Years Of Luxury Fragrance Or Luxury Beauty Experience. $160K Plus Bonus and Benefits.
Working Onsite 5 Days A Week In Downtown, NYC. Must Be OK with 60% Travel When Not Working Out Of A Downtown, NYC Office.
Well-known fragrance, skincare, and cosmetics privately owned Manhattan-based company is seeking a Global Fragrance Education Director.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Client Engagement via support of the education and development needs of our company through the project management of education materials, forecasting, key training initiatives, and communication tools.
- Manage 360 forecast and inventory plans of product needs for the field and training team to support tri-axis launches.
- This includes partnerships with marketing and operations cross-functional teams.
- Responsible for the tracking, management, and planning of the USA and International Education Budget.
- This includes forecasting, allocation communication, and managing the full shipping process.
- Manage strategy, forecasts, inventory levels, and budget allocation of Fragrance Stylist Uniforms.
- Responsible for communication and central partnership on all elements.
- Lead field communication and warehouse communication planning for the online ordering process.
- Partner with Sales Development to communicate all BC/field-related tools and programs on the planning timeline.
- Lead the Retail Development Holiday Gift program annually.
- Responsible for the forecasting, execution, and logistics of the Fragrance Stylists/Field Longevity Award program in partnership with the Field leadership.
- Responsible for training tools that encompass workshops including Seasonal Workshop, Workshops, holidays, ongoing training programs, and specialization.
- Communicate with USA and Global department stores and boutiques on field planning and logistical needs.
- Partner with the Director of Department Store Education and Events on all Gratis and Fragrance Advisor tools.
- Director Education on specialist training and support materials, such as SAKS Perfume Directors, Macy’s Account Coordinators, and other leadership programs within the North American field.
- Communicate seasonally in retailer meetings to sell in the BC and field-facing programs to drive sales plan achievement.
- Adapt and write curriculum where needed to support field tri-axis programs.
- Conduct all other job-related activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of in-store experience with an Education background working within the Fragrance or Beauty industry.
- Luxury Fragrance or Luxury Beauty Experience in both installation and open-sell environments.
- 60% Travel Required.
- Professional Portfolio showing artistry skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills
- Confidence in public speaking.
- Possesses strong and effective communication skills to present with authority the latest makeup tips and trends and how they relate to seasonal looks and color collections.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Superb motivational skills.
- Ability to manage and be accountable for schedule, budget, and travel.
- Flexibility with scheduling requirements.
- Detail-oriented, able to multi-task, experience working in a fast-paced retail environment.
