Job description
GRO is looking for a smart, ambitious, and analytical SEO Specialist to perform and manage SEO campaigns for our clients. The candidate should be organized, self-motivated, proactive, and articulate.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, execute and manage SEO campaigns using various SEO tools such as the following: SEranking, Screaming Frog, AHRefs, Moz, SEMrush, etc.
- Collaborate with client-facing teams on research, campaign creation, and optimization efforts
- Be present on client calls where technical expertise may be necessary
- Ensure proper tracking and attribution using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels, etc.
- Monitor and report performance of campaigns, along with providing recommendations for improvements
- Translate strategic recommendations concerning keyword and organic results into actionable items
- Effectively manage Search engine optimizations throughout the month and communicate optimizations to key stakeholders
- Enthusiasm and passion through continuously improving skills and staying abreast of industry and relevant news
Skills & Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in creating and effectively managing and implementing SEO campaigns. Must have hands-on experience making changes on the backend of multiple content management systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Must be able to independently manage workload to ensure all optimizations are performed each month
- Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and various SEO tools
- Problem-solving skills; ability to adapt to new technologies and find solutions to problems identified within the scope of your work
- The desire to research and test new opportunities within the growing organic search landscape
- Able to multi-task and prioritize—must work well under pressure
- Demonstrated grasp of leveraging KPIs to interpret results and make data-based decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 3 years of SEO experience
- A minimum of 2 years of Google Tag Manager based event tracking
- A minimum of 2 years of Google Analytics experience (interpreting and acting on analytics data)
- Advanced knowledge of the SEO landscape
- Strong writing, editing, and proofing skills
- Knowledge of PPC preferred
- Intermediate experience of HTML and Javascript implementation in a CMS
