Job Title: HR Representative Human Resources - Employment & Recruitment Services - Background Check and HR Records Team This position will be responsible for processing all express appointments to ensure employees are paid accurately and timely following University, State, and Federal guidelines. Reviews express job offers for correct appointment details and background check requirements, and launches candidate in Smart Onboarding within OMNI. This position processes employment and income verification requests for current and previous employees of the University. Assists with processing public records requests in providing access to personnel records for review to internal and external customers. Assists in Name Change requests for current FSU employees. Assists imaging process of HR documents into employee personnel files including the appropriate structure and document attributes to ensure compliance with Federal, State and University policies, procedures and retention guidelines. This position will serve as primary officer for the HR Fingerprinting Office to fingerprint FSU employment/volunteer candidates. Responsible for assisting with the daily processing of University Criminal History Background Checks to include review of job openings for correct background check requirements in comparison to university policy. Assists processing DCF Summer Camp Background Checks. This position will serve as backup for front desk administration support for the FSU HR suite. Assists and refers visitors and callers to appropriate HR section/contact. Assists with other projects as needed which support Employment & Recruitment Services, HR Records, The Background Check Team, and HR. Bachelor's degree; or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years.)
