Job description

Responsible for generating reports, verifying the information associated with the reports is correct, and updating or requesting updates to reporting tools as reporting needs change. Distribute reports to management, operations, and external sources as needed. Maintain current knowledge of all area functions in order to accurately verify report data.
80% Retrieve data from area systems to create a variety of reporting. Review and research accuracy of data on reports. Correct or coordinate the correction of any discrepancies found within the report output and ensure all corrections have been made before forwarding to the appropriate area.
10% Review change requests and/or other process changes that impact area reports. Ensure appropriate updates are made to report templates to reflect any changes received. Perform testing of reports to ensure changes made produce expected results. Document all changes made.
5% Maintain current knowledge of all positions in the area in order to understand how the work they do impacts the accuracy of report data. Assist management and area staff with workload as needed or assigned. Participate in special projects.
5% Analyze current reporting templates to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Attention to detail. Business math proficiency. Adaptable to change. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Required Software and Other Tools: Microsoft Office.
