Job description

Beauties & Beasts in Wichita, KS, located at 114 S Pattie Ave, is looking for one kennel technician to join our 10 person strong team. We are a dog daycare partnered with a local animal rescue, and have a shelter environment in the back half of our building for the rescue. Our ideal candidate is physically active, reliable, compassionate, patient and willing to learn as well as self motivated and not afraid to get your hands dirty. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• The primary function of the Kennel Technician is maintaining a safe and sanitary facility for animals and people and providing humane handling and care for all shelter and daycare animals. Job duties include handling, care, feeding and cleaning of kennel areas as well as interacting and playing with dogs.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience with dog handling. Knowledge of dog breeds and body language is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
