Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a systems safety engineer supporting the US Navy Ballistic Missile Program, youll have the oportunity to lead and be a member of multiple cross functional team responsible for ensuring that the weapons systems that we develop and depoy are safe and function as intended.

• Generateing, and updateing the following documents:
  • Systems Requirements Hazard Analysis (SRHA), Subsystem Hazard Analysis, Code Level Hazard Analysis, Firmware Safety Assessment Report, Safety Verification Report and Safety Review Board Presentation Material.
• Generate and partisapate in the review of customer safety team products.
• Generate System Safety Progress Report periodically.
• Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering concepts, principles, and theories
• Strong proficiency with requirements management and system modeling tools

Salary Note

Combined Salary Range

USD $112,829.60 - USD $125,170.40 /Yr.
