Job description
The Hematology Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of Clinical Laboratory Scientist, technicians, and laboratory assistants, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of hematology tests and results,
- Ability to monitor turnaround time, maintain quality control, investigate and resolve QA issues or discrepancies,
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs,
- Perform validation study and analyses as needed by reviewing and verifying test results ensuring accuracy and precision,
- Maintain accurate records or test results, quality control and laboratory procedures,
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements,
- Implement best practices to enhance laboratory operations to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies CAP, CLIA, DOHNJ, and TJC
