The Medical Technologist II is responsible for following procedures and performing tests on body fluids using automated analyzers and manual test procedures under minimal supervision, in accordance with laboratory procedures.?? The Medical Technologist II is responsible for adherence to the laboratory quality control policies and procedures to ensure reporting of accurate and timely test results.?? The Medical Technologist II will assist in the training of new personnel and carry out special assignments/projects for the department.

This is a Medical Technologist Tech II position at DFCI - Chestnut Hill lcoated in Newton, MA. Full-time dayshift, (7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday) (40 hours). No weekends, No holidays.??

Minimum Education: ??
AS, MLT (ASCP), BS, MT (ASCP), or nationally recognized equivalent preferred; degree must be in a clinical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science.
Minimum Experience: ??
2 years of clinical lab experience in chemistry and/or hematology required.
License/Certification/Registration:
ASCP or equivalent (AMT, NCA) preferred.
