USSI Rentals, Inc. is excited to announce a new role of Regional Sales Manager for the IL territory. For 30 years our customers have enjoyed excellent up-time and significantly lower total ownership costs because of our rugged workmanship and outstanding service and parts support. We distribute aerials, digger derricks, truck bodies, and liftgates.
Our custom-built aerial lifts and work trucks are used throughout the Mid-West by:
- Electric & gas utilities
- Telecommunication & cable companies
- Federal, state, & local governments
- Contractors
- Other organizations that need high performance, reliable, and safe work vehicles to build and service our electrical infrastructure

Regional Sales Manager (RSM). Regional Sales Manager Job Summary:Here at USSI Rentals, Inc., we have a tremendous opportunity to meet market demand with our quality and cost-effective truck mounted platform solutions. A primary responsibility for the Regional Sales Manager will be to identify, establish and grow key accounts in Illinois by developing a market strategy for our customer segments. Additionally, the RSM will be responsible for identifying opportunities to expand the current addressable market and provide insight for future product development. In this role, the RSM will direct and engage in all steps of the business development life cycle through research, target identification, discovery, product evaluations and contract close.
Job Responsibilities for Regional Sales Manager:- Develop full market analysis of product portfolio including our market share by market segment.
- Develop product expertise, understanding of value proposition and competitive positioning.
- Develop and perform to sales goals with a focus on growing market share.
- Provide sales reporting and forecasting.
- Drive and execute all phases of business development life cycle.
- Determine total available market (TAM) by product line in our Illinois territory. Research and determine opportunities for product innovation and development.
- This position involves less than 25% overnight travel.
Qualifications Needed: - 5-7 years outside sales/business development experience in durable goods manufacturing.
- Experience developing market/customer segment growth strategies.
- Experience and desire to execute full life cycle of sales process.
- Strong desire to learn and provide a consultative approach to selling.
- Strong technical acumen and ability to learn technical specifications.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
- Ability to collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and support teams.
- Ability to forecast and report on sales pipeline.

Regional Sales Manager Hours:Monday- Friday. This position involves less than 25% overnight travel.
Salary:Excellent total compensation opportunity (Base + commission). Car allowance and fuel package offered.
