Job description
Midland Care is looking for a Certified Medication Aide to join our team at our Topeka PACE Center in the Clinic.
Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medication to PACE participants as prescribed by healthcare providers. The Certified Medication Aide will play a key role in medication management and documentation, working collaboratively with nurses and other staff members.
Midland Care’s Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is a not-for-profit health care program that helps people at risk for needing nursing home care who meet a level of care requirement stay in their own homes and communities.
Employment Status: Full-Time | Monday - Friday| 8am - 5pm
Starting pay: $15/hr (pay is based on requirements and like experience)
SIGN ON BONUS: $1,000 Full-Time

Qualifications
Required: Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification. Must possess a valid Kansas Driver’s License, in force automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization’s insurability standard as defined by Midland policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position.
Preferred: One year experience as CMA preferred. Demonstrable knowledge in medication administration.
