APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design, develop, maintain, debug and improve decision-making algorithms to run in real time on an autonomous robotic system. Combine machine learning, AI, and classical robotics to provide scalable solutions able to meet a wide range of real-world conditions. Design tests and review code to ensure safety and performance are maintained throughout development. Write code in C++ to run on a multithreaded robotic platform, and in python for offline development and analysis. Work closely with multiple related teams to ensure that the overall system requirements are being met. Contribute novel ideas that can push the state of the art for problems without a known solution. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $183,848 - $208,300/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Education & Experience
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
