Required: Esthetician License Responsible for meeting or exceeding FACE FOUNDRIÉ sales through staff recruiting, productivity development, service promotions; and demonstrations. A Lead Esthetician is responsible for creating an environment that maintains and exceeds standards of excellence in guest services, client retention skills, staff technical proficiency, staff retention, and professional recommendations. The Lead Esthetician reports to the salon manager with a direct link to the owner.
Your skills, experience & talents as a Lead Esthetician will be essential to lead by example. As the lead you will perform the following critical functions:
- The Lead Esthetician will go through an extensive FACE FOUNDRIÉ training and development system to learn our bespoke service protocols and techniques, and how to train others.
- Implements all technical product training classes (~ 50 hours) for each new esthetician hired to the team.
- Can identify opportunities for growth within the esti team for growth, average ticket, and rebooking.
- Demonstrates high standards for customer service, and image standards, and consistently executes FACE FOUNDRIÉ expectations.
- Responsible for performing services on guests and leading by example. Able to maintain personal productivity standards.
- Meets or exceeds financial metrics including service revenue, average ticket, guest count, guest retention, rebooking, skin treatments, retail revenue, retention/turnover, and contribution goals.
- Co-responsible for the management (along with the salon manager) of estheticians including (but not limited to) training, product knowledge and skills development, loss prevention knowledge, performance management, safety, recognition, and legal compliance.
- Responsible for identifying the skill development needed for each esthetician and determining the right resource, including themselves, to develop the skill.
- Ensures all technical product training classes (virtual, vendor, or in-house) are attended by each esthetician.
- Conducts 90-day probationary reviews along with the salon manager for all new estheticians. Conducts monthly touch-bases from month four through their yearly reviews with each esthetician.
- Responsible for placing and checking in supply orders (especially professional and back bar items), in a timely and within budget while being cautious not to run out of supplies needed to service guests.
- Assists the team with social media and marketing events.
