Job description
All Carthage students are invited to submit artwork for the 2024 Annual Juried Student Art Show. Submissions are due at 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, March 12.
All media is accepted, including, but not limited to, audio, ceramics, drawing,
installations, painting, photography, sculpture, video, film, and printmaking.
Each student may enter up to three works of art. Artwork must have been completed during the years attending Carthage. It can be work made for a class assignment or outside of a class.
The application is free and easy, and accepted students can receive monetary awards, including Best of Show and Purchase Awards. This year’s juror is Lena Vigna, curator of exhibitions at the Racine Art Museum.

Students will be notified of their acceptance by Thursday, March 14.
Below is the timeline for the exhibition process.
Submission Deadline: 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, March 12.
Jurying: Wednesday, March 13
Notification of Acceptance: Thursday, March 14
Artwork Drop-off/Delivery Dates: Friday, March 15 - Saturday, March 16
Exhibition: Wednesday, March 20 - Wednesday, March 27
All artwork accepted must be delivered to the Visual and Performing Arts Lab (located next to the Art Gallery) on Friday, March 15 - Saturday, March 16.
High-quality digital photograph printing sessions on campus: Friday, March 15 and/or Saturday, March 16. The printing location and sign-up schedule are to be distributed with selection announcements.
