Job description

The Vendor Management Analyst will be responsible for ensuring optimal vendor engagement and partnership. Key responsibilities include standardizing the invoicing process by tracking, processing, validating and reporting on ROI and vendor spend across the health system. Responsible for the maintenance and gathering of information to maintain vendor scorecards and KPIs to ensure optimal performance across the health system, for ensuring commitment and engagement by the vendors with each facility. Participates in quality improvement with vendors by auditing notes, adjustments and eligibility discoveries as well as ensure optimized vendor workflows with a goal to decrease manual intervention by the system team members. Responsible for successful vendor onboarding through legal, procurement, IT processes and maintenance of the vendor employees within system database. Will work collaboratively with the Vendor Engagement and Relations Managers to ensure timely, accurate, and continuous communication with vendors and Stakeholders. They should be highly organized and accountable. Must possess excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.

EDUCATION/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

1. Bachelors preferred, Associates required

2. Three to five years of related health care administration/financial, Revenue Cycle or Vendor Management experience preferred.

3. Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills required. Strong data management and computer skills including reporting and database terminology, development of spreadsheets, analysis and manipulation of complex data from multiple data sources.

4. Strong computer and systems application skills. Intermediate MS Excel skills required.


5. Knowledge of EPIC enterprise system preferred.
