Position Overview: The Human Resource Administrator will provide comprehensive HR administrative support to the Corporate HR Shared Service Team and the assigned Divisions, serving both the Ashton Woods and Starlight Homes divisional units.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to the following)
- Administer interview assessment request for candidates at the direction of the Hiring Managers and the HR team.
- Assist in the maintenance of HR forms or documents.
- Prepare offer letters
- Launch background checks
- Answer basic employee questions about HR policies or offerings.
- Assist with creative LinkedIn posts for open job requisitions across markets.
- Manage Annual Construction Awards (Collecting Submissions and Preparing Awards)
- Manage the year-end and holiday gift platform for assigned divisions
- Send anniversary bonus messages.
- Prepare and ship internship gifts
- Prepare and ship new leader gift boxes
- Assist with leave administration; workers compensation claims, short term disability, long term disability, FMLA, etc.
- UPS Shipments (Payroll Checks, Recruiting Supplies)
- Shirt/Swag Ordering for everyday needs, new hires and recruiting events
- Assist recruiting and hiring managers in reviewing applications, resumes during the candidate selection process
- Birthday email announcements
- Assist in maintaining the SHELF (company intranet)
- Creating promotion announcements
- Assist with the coordination of Company gifts and tax documentation.
- Sit on the Corporate Social Committee and assist in planning events.
- Assist in planning Company events.
- Manage promotion announcements on LinkedIn and on the Company intranet across markets.
- Complete 45-day check ins with new hires
- Assign 90-day surveys to new hires.
- Complete exit interviews
- Management of expense reports for exited employees to ensure proper review and approval as well as payment.
- Managing the training database, Navex and Benefit Enrollment for all new hires and any supplemental training assignments ensuring trainings are completed in a timely manner.
- Monitor completion of new hire mandatory tasks
- Order business cards for new hires and existing employees as needed.
- Process background check invoices and ensure timely payment of such.
- Order employee gifts for life events as directed by the Corporate HR team.
- Assist with the annual Sales Agreement acknowledgment process.
- Provide HR Administrative support to the Corporate HR team.
- Support and coordinate various components of HR related programs.
- Other projects as assigned by the Human Resource Corporate Team
Desired Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to perform work under minimal supervision.
- 4+ years of professional experience in a similar role
- Professionalism in both appearance and behavior required for greeting guests and answering and directing internal and external calls.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships utilizing strong interpersonal and decision- making/judgment skills in line with the organization's goals.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize several tasks without compromising quality of work or mission deadlines.
- Ability to review, analyze and interpret information as well as trouble-shoot to solve problems.
- Knowledge of Business English and ability to communicate patiently utilizing strong customer service skills and professionally with both internal and external customers both orally and in writing.
- Strong oral and written communication skills as well as organizational skills working in a fast- paced environment.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
