Job Summary
We are seeking an RN or LPN for schools for 1 to 1 care of a student to join our team. In this role, you will primarily be providing care for individual student in a school setting.
You are a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who operates with great compassion and a big heart. You take pride in the care you provide for your patients and are able to observe and communicate effectively in your patient's best interest.
To succeed, you should have demonstrated knowledge and skill in current nursing practices as well as medication administration. Hours follow school calendar, primarily Monday-Friday 8:30-3:30 Longmeadow, Springfield and South Hadley. $$ SIGN ON BONUS $$ Paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, 401k with match.
Responsibilities:
Implement and follow the Care Plan for each client, obtain MD orders as appropriate.
Provide medication administration, perform treatments as ordered.
Document any changes in patient conditions and report on changes.
Maintain accurate records of patient care and discuss observations with supervisor.
Qualifications:
Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse in MA required.
Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred
Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
First aid/CPR certification required
